Looking Back, Informing the Future: A Multidisciplinary Research Project on the 1947 Partition of British India

2017 marks the 70th anniversary of the Partition of British India, as well as the launch of Harvard’s South Asia Institute’s major research on Partition.
 
Panelists will discuss the complexities of large-scale human migration and resettlements. Such lessons can inform current cross-border displacement and the corresponding growth of urban settlements and cities.
